FUNDECI is the acronym for the Nicaraguan Foundation for Integral Community Development. FUNDECI was founded in 1973 by Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann, to provide a non-governmental response to the Managua earthquake of December, 1972. We continue to work on issues of poverty, injustice, and the environment in Nicaragua, in our fortieth year!
